What’s Next For You?

The hard work is really done – now you’re at the stage many affiliates refer to as the “grind”.

The “grind” basically consists of you working to make your website better! Don’t worry though – we love our job, and the “grind” is just an additional part of it.

Over the next couple of months you’re going to focus on exactly three things:

#1: Writing Content

It’s a cliche that “Content is King” but it is true.  The only way people are going to find your website, other than paid advertising, is with content.  If you write top drawer quality content, then people will be able to find your website.

So start focusing on writing as much content as possible for your website, and making it the biggest and most informative resource for the subject that you are discussing and marketing.  Aim to write as much content as possible.

For my website CasinoAnswers.com for example – we launched with 20 articles and now add 3 articles per day, all 800-1000+ words in length.  While you don’t have to go to that extreme – start writing your butt off, and write as much content as you possible can.

#2: Link Building:

I’m trying to make this short and sweet, so it’s really hard to cover link building in a few paragraphs.  Basically if Content is King then Link Building is Queen….the two go hand in hand, and you will need both of them to succeed.

There is a variety of ways you can link build.  Swap links with people if they have quality websites, directory submission, RSS Feeds, Article Directory Submission and so much more.  You can even focus on natural link building – get a link at the top of Digg for example, and you’re going to see an absolute ton of natural links from other websites.

#3: Educate Yourself:

In your spare time, really spend it educating yourself.  Read through the rest of the articles here on Affiliate Bible because there is a wealth of information at your disposal.  Start reading up on writing more for the web, and how to sell better on the web.  Read up on SEO and Visitor Optimization.

Study your stats, and change your website or writing style based on that.  Look at the competition and see what they are doing.  See what works for others, and implement it on your site.

Ask people for advice.  Always look to improve.  And don’t be afraid to make mistakes.

The day you stop learning, is the day you stop becoming successful.
